Going to the AFP Conference in Baltimore? |
We still have two slots open for our free consulting offer in Baltimore. If you would like to schedule a personal one-on-one meeting with Linda where she can advise and consult for you during the conference, please let us know. Linda will be available for 30 minute consultations at no charge to you during these two days in Baltimore. Consultation meetings will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and can include advice on your development plan, board development help, capital campaign advice, or whatever topic in which you feel you need some guidance. Please email Linda at Linda@cvfundraising.com to set up your free consultation. Our response to this offer has been so great, we’ve decided to list Linda’s calendar on the website so you can see where she is. If you want to schedule a meeting, have Linda speak at your AFP Chapter or arrange a board training session for your board while she is in your area, you can save some travel expenses. Our software guide is almost ready. We have a number of people willing to serve as a resource for those contemplating purchasing software. Calling All Authors/Speakers |
| Response to our call for authors has been tremendous. We will be working on some great book projects for CharityChannel Press. If you have an idea for a book focused on an area of interest to the nonprofit industry (or even a general interest book) contact me at Linda@cvfundraising.com with your ideas. I would love to discuss your book ideas with you. As part of our partnership with CharityChannel, we are pleased to announce that beginning July 2010; we will be coordinating a group of Capital Venture/CharityChannel webinars. We will offer a discount on Capital Venture /CharityChannel webinars to all members of the Fundraiser’s Private Vault. We are putting together a course of top notch programs in areas such as Governance; Leadership; Fundraising Basics; Major, Planned and Capital Giving; and Planning. We have recently published the revised edition of our eBook, Capital Campaigns: Everything You Need to Know, which is available on our website. If you are planning a capital campaign, you will want to check this out. This book will be published in hard copy writing the next few months, so watch our website for the release date.
