Software Survey

Going to the AFP Conference in Baltimore?

We have a special offer for those of you attending the conference on April 12 and 13. Many of you have participated in the numerous webinars presented by Linda Lysakowski, ACFRE over the past year or have attended other workshops done throughout the country which may have inspired you to initiate a new development program. If you would like to schedule a personal one-on-one meeting with Linda where she can advise and consult for you during the conference, please let us know. Linda will be available for 30 minute consultations at no charge to you during these two days in Baltimore. Consultation meetings will be scheduled on a first come, first serve basis and can include advice on your development plan, board development help, capital campaign advice, or whatever topic in which you feel you need some guidance. Website Update

We’ve added several new tools and tips to our website (Add links to the new ones) and look for more coming up in the months ahead. If there are tools you would like to see that are not currently on our website, let us know. (linda@cvfundraising.com). In addition to the current tools, we will soon be launching our software guide and we are considering a job posting service. If you are interested in the job posting service, we will have a survey in next month's newsletter.


Several of our tools are now available at The Expert Fundraiser. We are pleased to be a contributor to this website which offers tools that you may not be able to find on the Capital Venture website, so check it out. Alan Sharpe is a direct mail expert so there are lots of tools for direct mail appeals to be found on the Expert Fundraiser website.

We have recently published the revised edition of our eBook, Capital Campaigns: Everything You Need to Know, which is available on our website. If you are planning a capital campaign, you will want to check this out. This book will be published in hard copy writing the next few months, so watch our website for the release date.
