AFP in Baltimore a Huge Success |
The AFP conference in Baltimore was a huge success. One of the most inspiring speakers was Archbishop Desmond Tutu who told us that fundraising is a noble profession. Ironically I used those same words in the introduction of my newest book, Fundraising as a Career: What, Are You Crazy? You can buy this book beginning May 11. There will be a link on our website starting May 11. If your AFP chapter or other organization would like a presentation on this topic, along with a book signing, let me know Linda@cvfundraising.com.
It was great getting to meet a dozen nonprofit colleagues through our free 30 minute consultations during the two days in Baltimore. In case you were not able to get to Baltimore, see our special offer at the end of this newsletter to get your own free consultation. Our response to this offer was so great that I’ve decided to list my calendar on the website so you can see where I am. If you want to schedule a meeting, invite me to speak at your AFP Chapter, or arrange a board training session for your board while I am in your area, you can save some travel expenses. Check out Linda’s Travel Calendar here.
