On Demand Services

The "On Demand" program is designed for any nonprofit that needs occasional help from an expert fundraising consultant at an affordable price.

CAPITAL VENTURE provides a full range of traditional consulting services, such as development audits and plans, capital campaign management and planning studies for campaign, board development programs and training for boards, staff and volunteers.

On Demand services, on the other hand, provides you with instant, short-term help as you need it, via email or phone and always at a reduced fee.

Over the years our expert consultants have developed some great tools to help you evaluate your board, assess the effectiveness of your special events, and much more. Many of the tools are free and you'll find those by selecting Tools from the menu bar on this website; some must be individualized for your organization and require input from our staff. It is those tools that fall between doing it yourself and more complex CAPITAL VENTURE consulting services that comprise the On Demand program.

• Board Evaluation and Restructuring Program
  Client will receive an assessment of their current board structure, proposed organizational chart for their board and proposed position descriptions for board members.
  
  Also includes consultant's assessment the free Individual Board Member Performance Evaluation Worksheet and Board of Directors Self-Evaluation Form.



• Capital Campaign Tools:
  This service includes:
  • Development of Campaign Plan
  • Development of Review of Case for Support
  • Volunteer Training
  • “On Call” consulting by phone and email.


• Comprehensive Board Meeting Evaluation:
  This service includes:
  • Review of the board questionnaires evaluating a previous board meeting.
  • Review of agenda (sent beforehand.)
  • Consultant attending board meeting via phone.
  • Report listing recommendations for more productive board meetings.


• Development Committee Evaluation and Restructuring Program
  Client will receive an assessment of their current development committee structure, proposed organizational chart for their development committee and proposed position descriptions for committee members.



• Development Office Technology Evaluation
  An evaluation of your development office's technology includes a comprehensive review of the strengths and weaknesses of your current hardware, software, databases, and remote connections, as well as recommendations specifically designed for your staff and fundraising needs.



• Development Plan Review
  Client will receive a two-page report after comprehensive review of their existing development plan.



• Mini-Development Audit
  Clients will receive a two-page evaluation report of their development program with recommendations for their development plan.



• Nonprofit Website Analysis
  Complete analysis of your website covering over 150 checkpoints, including review of programming code, search engine optimization, usability, accessibility, design, layout, navigation, clarity of marketing message and suggestions for improvements.



• Review or Development of Case Statement
  Review of your existing case for support or case statement and recommendations for improvement, or development of a new case statement.
